The Hunt: Dark Souls 2 - Lore Summary

I have gotten a few comments recently asking if I will be covering Dark Souls 2 before the launch of Dark Souls 3. Unfortunately I will not be able to provide a series like The Hunt: Dark Souls 1 prior to the release of Dark Souls 3.

However, I have gathered together some great community content to summarize the story and lore of Dark Souls 2. It is set up so that you can easily check out a specific section, content from a specific creator, or you can just scroll down the page and consume all the content you can handle as you wait for Dark Souls 3.

Enjoy, and happy hunting!

Here is a vanilla Dark Souls 2 plot summary by DaveControl.

Bonfireside Chat

If podcasts are more your speed, then I recommend the Dark Souls 2 season of Bonfireside Chat. It is a podcast dedicated to the Soulsborne games, and each episode covers the story, lore, and design of an area in the game.

While this isn't quite as thorough as my treatment of Dark Souls 1, I hope this serves as a great summary of Dark Souls 2. If you know of any great content that you don't see here, please send it to me here!
